worth the money, March 2, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Danner Men's Quarry GTX 8" AT Boot (Apparel) I have bought alot of work boots over the years but have never found a pair that I can say I was glad that I purchased them. But I can say these danner boots are the best boots I have ever put on. They are comfortable and built to last. I have worn them in water and mud everyday since I have recieved them. I am hard on boots , rarely do they last a year but I think I have found a new brand to buy. Keep it up Danner!

Quality Chinese boot, February 15, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Danner Men's Quarry GTX 8" AT Boot (Apparel) Whatever Danner has done with quality controls is working. These Chinese made boots are, I hate to say it; just as good as any American made boot. The design and workmanship are really world class. It's too bad Danner has to outsource such a great design. I would pay a lot more for the same boot made in America. This is the third pair I have owned. The last two failed in the same place, right at the natural bend in front, the leather upper/sole stitching comes apart. Nothing a good cobbler can't fix. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this boot. As long as Danner doesn't mess with the design too much, it is unlikely I will ever buy another style of boot again.
