Wow what a difference. These boots are so much more comfortable than Sketchers and they fit great. Plus they look cool!

They didn't require a lot of break-in, and quickly became my go-to shoe whenever I needed some solid support on the concrete floors at work. Once I tried them out on Belgian cobblestones, I was hooked-- the high top kept my ankles from rolling no matter how uneven the surface. They got completely soaked in a torrential downpour and surprisingly bounced back the next day good as new. I can't wear a lot of Doc shoes, as they're often too tight across the top of my foot, but these fit me very well. The shoes come with a pair of solid-color laces, and I appreciated that-- the two-tone laces make the shoe look more like a hiking boot, while the solid laces give them a more formal, shoe-like appearance. I just got a second pair in a different color, and look forward to enjoying them for many years to come.
