Boots are great; Amazon's inspection...FAIL!, May 2, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ECCO Men's Adar Chukka Boot (Apparel) Hi, I actually love these boots. Very comfy and cute on my feet. I am more upset about Amazon's failure to actually inspect the boots before sending them to me. Both boots were covered with black permanent pen markings and also had quite a bit of black soot/ dirt all over them. I know suede and there is no way a cleaning would get this stuff off. I would post pictures if I could...already sent pics to Amazon customer service because I am highly disappointed! Such a shame! I hope the replacement pair are actually clean and mark free. Will have to wait and see.
