I love these boots!, May 14, 2009 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Thorogood Men's American Heritage 6" Non-Safety Boot (Apparel) I'm a union electrician who is always looking to support my fellow working person. So, made in the U.S.A. by a union workforce was a big draw for me. That being said, these are terrific boots. I'm almost too selfish to tell where I got them. Otherwise, every man on site will be wearing them. You can't get quality like this from some third world sweatshop. I'll be back for more.

EXCELLENT BOOTS, May 14, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Thorogood Men's American Heritage 6" Non-Safety Boot (Apparel) These are great boots. The quality and fit are superb. I don't write reviews if I don't like things. Trust me go with these and you won't be disappointed!

And durable, but on the tight side (Caterpillar Alaska FX) and had mixed results with Durham, Propet, Wolverine, Sebago, New Balance, Lugz, Worx, Carolina, Eastland, Stacy Adams/ SAO and other brands. There have been some great feeling shoes that looked and functioned more like tennis shoes as far as materials and styling, so i've been hard pressed to find legit workboots with a soft toe, accurate true to size measurements, comfort out the box, and support. We'll see how the sole holds up since it's got tons of cushioun and at best a 1/4" of rubber tred, but so far they are a dream to move in. The last in the boot shifts your foot onto you toes and has a high instep with the heel ( at least for a flatfooted guy like me who can't slip a piece of paper uner his arches), so it put more...
